I’m old school. I believe there is no point in reinventing the wheel if you don’t have to. And sex has been around for a really, really, really long time. Duh. So as a newlywed, I don’t need to invent new ways to keep the flames a flaming in my bedroom. Especially when I own a copy of Light His Fire: How to Keep Your Man Passionately and Hopelessly in Love with You by Ellen Kreidman.
This is a quick read. But it’s a must. Why? Because research shows that after a couple has been boo-ed up for a while, the flame starts to flicker. And if not monitored, it can burn out altogether. I don’t want that in my relationship! And neither do you. So keep it hot girl! Get this book and make a goal to try at least one of the 51 foolproof ways to keep his fire lit each week. Your man deep down really does want you to make him a sex object. Ellen takes all of the guess work out of how to do that for you. Lord, bless her.
I had Ellen’s book on my bookshelf (no shame in my game) when a friend of mine visited with her 90-year-old mother. And she asked to borrow it. No, not my friend. Her mother. That there was a wake-up call to me. To never get complacent about keeping my man’s fire lit. And I don’t want you to get complacent either. So stop acting like you don’t need some help from time to time: you have kids, or pets that need tending to, or a job, or kids + pets that need tending to + a job. And laundry to do, and grocery shopping. And science projects to glue together. And bills to pay. And a boss who is stressing you the hell out. With all that going on, who wouldn’t need a little cheat sheet on how to keep the libido working? Remember, here on this site, there is no side-eye. No judgment. And if it makes you feel any better, you are soo not alone. Here’s a pretty good list of reasons why couples need to hit the refresh button from time to time.
But no more excuses. Get the book and go work it out with your man, girl. Literally. And become a sex star like I taught you earlier this year. You got this.
You can thank me later!
